On Halloween night, I had the chance to swap spooky songs and stories on air on the aptly-titled CIUT program "It's ALIVE!" hosted by the ever-supportive Andy Frank.
My fellow guest was Kevin Zarnett, a fine craftsman of song, a modest and hilarious stage presence and sweet guitar player.
It was one of those nights when all the energy of the world was whirling, but we were somehow in a mellow space, unseen in the middle of it all.
The fact that we were in a stone cellar may have been of some importance. Immune to twisters, we were hardly twisted at all by the events of the evening.
