It's About Strawberries

Every time I introduce the song "Strawberry Season" I insist that it's not about sex, it's about strawberries.

That's why you can play it to a group of schoolkids in good conscience.

Grownups, however, always read some kind of double entendre into the lyrics.

What is with that?
